What the exam covers
A comprehensive eye exam checks how clearly you see and the health of your eyes. It is how eye doctors find conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease, often before you notice any change in your vision.

Meet your doctor
Dr. Denise Coté LaShell received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where she graduated valedictorian. She studied chemistry at the University of South Florida and is a graduate of Sarasota High School.
She practices comprehensive eye care and takes pride in precise refractions, helping patients reach their best vision in a comfortable, friendly setting. More about Dr. LaShell
After your exam: frames fitted by Fatima Moon
Your exam takes place in our eyewear boutique. Afterwards, owner and optician Fatima Moon can help you choose frames that suit your face, and our in-house finishing lab customizes every lens to your prescription and measurements.

How much is an eye exam at Moon & Co?
A comprehensive eye exam is $180, and contact lens fittings start at $180. Any current offer is shown on the booking page.
Do you accept insurance?
No. Moon & Co is a private concierge practice and does not accept insurance.
When are eye exams available?
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., by appointment. The boutique is open Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Can I choose new glasses on the same visit?
Yes. The exam takes place in our boutique, and Fatima Moon can help you choose frames afterwards.
