The Tom Ford FT5762-B is a square frame that doesn’t look boxy. The top outer corners lift a little, which gives it a hint of cat-eye without going all the way. Tom Ford’s metal T logo sits at each hinge, and that’s about all the decoration there is.
Size and fit
It measures 55-15-140: 55 mm lenses, a 15 mm bridge and 140 mm arms. The lenses are about 44 mm tall, so there’s plenty of room for progressives. Tom Ford lists it as a women’s frame with a standard fit, and it’s $395.
A quick way to compare it with glasses you already own: add the lens width twice to the bridge. For this frame that’s 125 mm (55 + 55 + 15). Do the same sum with the three numbers inside the arm of your current pair (we explain those numbers in our Cecil sizing post). It’s only a rough guide, because the corners add a little, but if your pair comes out close to 125 you’re in the right area.
What the B stands for
The B at the end of the model number marks Tom Ford’s Blue Block version. It comes with clear lenses that filter some of the blue light from screens, which is why they show a faint blue reflection in the photos. If you need a prescription, those lenses get swapped for yours. Ask us about adding a blue light filter to the new lenses if you want to keep that feature.
Colors
When we wrote this we had two of the four colors in stock:
- 052, Shiny Classic Dark Havana: a dark brown tortoise, and the easy pick if you want one pair for every day.
- 045, Shiny Rose Champagne: translucent beige with a pink tint. It looks a lot lighter on the face than the havana.

Tom Ford also makes it in Shiny Black (001) and a coral and pink grapefruit havana (074). Neither was in stock at the time, but call us on (941) 260-8523 if you’d like us to look into either one.
