The KameManNen 123 is a round frame with an engraved outer rim and KameManNen’s own inner metal rim behind it. Layering two metal rims with different textures gives the round shape depth and shading: classic at heart, with a slightly modern edge.
Sizes: 41 mm lens width, 24 mm bridge, 145 mm temples.
About KameManNen: the company started in 1917 in Fukui, Japan, as a metal-plating workshop and, after the Second World War, became an eyewear maker in Sabae, the town at the heart of Japanese frame making. It is often called Japan’s oldest eyewear brand, and in 1981 it was the first in the world to make eyeglass frames from titanium. Frame colors come from metal plating and ion plating, a slow process chosen because the finish lasts.
