The KameManNen 152 is an octagon built on the brand’s three-dimensional rim. Designed to hold thick lenses neatly, the rim is machined thicker in places, which gives the metal frame depth and shading. The pad arms and nose pads are kept as discreet as possible. Straight lines and soft curves together: classic, with a modern feel.
Sizes: 44 or 46 mm lens width, 23 mm bridge, 145 mm temples.
About KameManNen: the company started in 1917 in Fukui, Japan, as a metal-plating workshop and, after the Second World War, became an eyewear maker in Sabae, the town at the heart of Japanese frame making. It is often called Japan’s oldest eyewear brand, and in 1981 it was the first in the world to make eyeglass frames from titanium. Frame colors come from metal plating and ion plating, a slow process chosen because the finish lasts.
