The KameManNen 1235 has an almost hexagonal outline and two layers of metal: an engraved outer rim over an inner rim. The contrast in texture adds shading and depth, so the straight lines never look cold.
Sizes: 46 mm lens width, 23 mm bridge, 145 mm temples.
About KameManNen: the company started in 1917 in Fukui, Japan, as a metal-plating workshop and, after the Second World War, became an eyewear maker in Sabae, the town at the heart of Japanese frame making. It is often called Japan’s oldest eyewear brand, and in 1981 it was the first in the world to make eyeglass frames from titanium. Frame colors come from metal plating and ion plating, a slow process chosen because the finish lasts.
