The KameManNen 9505 is a classic round frame with a modern take. Even the bridge is made as one piece with the front, a method that would never be chosen for speed or ease of production; KameManNen uses it because it wants the frame to read as one clean, continuous form.
Sizes: 43 mm lens width, 25 mm bridge, 145 mm temples.
About KameManNen: the company started in 1917 in Fukui, Japan, as a metal-plating workshop and, after the Second World War, became an eyewear maker in Sabae, the town at the heart of Japanese frame making. It is often called Japan’s oldest eyewear brand, and in 1981 it was the first in the world to make eyeglass frames from titanium. Frame colors come from metal plating and ion plating, a slow process chosen because the finish lasts.
